The 2015 UK Conference, held in Birmingham, was a great success for all involved. Not only is the conference a chance to showcase Trapeze products, it is also a platform for some Trapeze staff to demonstrate expertise in their field by running seminars and workshops that help clients solve their most pressing challenges.
"Superwoman" Sophie Thwaites was voted "Trapeze Superman/Superwoman" at the most recent UK Staff Day.

Trapeze's Charity of the Year is SANDS but that doesn't stop Trapeze staff getting involved with other charities throughout the year. Most recently, Karen (HR - far left) and Claire (Finance- far right) took part in the London Marathon Moonwalk 2016.
28th January saw our UK Staff Day bringing together the whole of Trapeze Group UK for a day of business orientated fun with a clear message of where the business is going and what everyone in the company needs to do in order for us to get there.
The Staff Day was held at the beautiful Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire and was a mix of presentations, group sessions, guest speakers, treasure hunts and sumptuous lunches and dinners. A great day was had by all!
A new bus information system is being introduced across Aberdeenshire to help passengers plan better and make public transport a more attractive option. The new Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) system means bus users can see the actual time buses will arrive at stops, rather than their scheduled arrival. With more accurate and reliable information on bus times, customers will be able to make more informed choices about their travel plans.
As part of the computer recycling requirements as a UK business, Trapeze UK gives all staff the option to buy their old laptops for a small fee when they are replaced by a newer version; all payments are then donated to the Trapeze UK Charity of the Year. Not all staff take up the opportunity to buy-back their old equipment and so some of the equipment is repurposed or recycled. However, in 2015, Trapeze UK gave laptops to The Warren Childcare Center in Kempston, Bedford so that nursery age children can use computers in preparation for life at school.
This is something that Trapeze UK will look to provide for other institutions when the opportunity arises.
