Every year, employees from TGUK are invited to the Trapeze Transit Summit, a global event where staff from all Trapeze businesses meet to learn, collaborate and share.
The Summit in Berlin this year focused on understanding our customers, sharing best practice and lessons learned.
"Superwoman" Sharon Bridges was voted "Trapeze Superman/Superwoman" at the most recent UK Staff Day.
Sharon has worked at Trapeze since October 2016 and is an administrator in the Chippenham office. She is responsible for the setting up of contracted projects on GP, as well as generating purchase orders, and supporting our office manager, Rachel, in the day to day running of the office.
What does Sharon enjoy about working at Trapeze? “I love the camaraderie that exists in our office, and I find that the work that Trapeze does to improve public transport both exciting and innovative. I am pleased and proud to be part of such a forward-thinking company”
Trapeze's Charity of the Year is Alzheimer's Society but that doesn't stop Trapeze staff getting involved with other charities throughout the year. Most recently, Pat, Irene, Chris and Karen (Aberdeen Office) took part in the Race for Life for Cancer research.
16th - 18th June saw our UK Staff Day bringing together the whole of Trapeze Group UK for two days of business orientated fun with a clear message of where the business is going and what everyone in the company needs to do in order for us to get there.
The Staff Day was held at Chessington World of Adventure and was a mix of presentations, group sessions, treasure hunts and sumptuous lunches and dinners. A great couple of days was had by all!
As part of the computer recycling requirements as a UK business, Trapeze UK gives all staff the option to buy their old laptops for a small fee when they are replaced by a newer version; all payments are then donated to the Trapeze UK Charity of the Year. Not all staff take up the opportunity to buy-back their old equipment and so some of the equipment is repurposed or recycled.
One of the most popular Munch and Mingles of the year was the Tandoori Munch. Loved by everyone.
Munch and Mingle is a monthly event that brings everyone together in a social environment. The theme differs every month and has included in the past Cream Teas, English Breakfast and the ever popular barbecue.
